The fathers

Since 2018, Maxime Pearson and Samuel Tremblay have been exploring the theme of family and celebrating paternal involvement on the web, in the media and anywhere you're willing to let them speak loudly!

Who are they?

Maxime Pearson and Samuel Tremblay are two great childhood friends who have known each other since the age of 14. High school, their first Saint-Jean-Baptiste, crossing Canada: they grew up, celebrated and traveled together. Then, in August 2018, as fate would have it, they became fathers just a few weeks apart.

While their blondes were 6 to 7 months pregnant, they launched theNew fathers,an entertainment platform that takes us into their new lives as dads, with humor and light-heartedness, through blog posts, video capsules and slice-of-life stories. Their goal: to offer a refreshing look at fatherhood and indulge their passion for humor and writing.

Going against the grain of other family platforms on the Web, Max & Sam quickly won over a wide audience, including mothers and fathers who recognize themselves in their positive approach to parenthood.

Max

Victor and Léandre's father

Maxime Pearson, 29, is the father of little Victor, born in August 2018.
Originally from Dolbeau-Mistassini, Lac-Saint-Jean, Maxime is a high school math teacher, a partner in the language agency Traduction M, a weekend comedian and a skip on his curling team. To all this, he decided to add Project New Fathers. That explains the white hair...
It was in 2014, as part of a reality show combining travel and encounters, Vol 920, that he fell in love with the woman of his life, Marie-Claude. After a perilous adventure around the world, they settled in Dolbeau-Mistassini, where they have since built the life they've always dreamed of.

Sam

Father of Marguerite, Lambert and Joséphine

Samuel Tremblay, 29, is the father of little Marguerite, born in August 2018.
Originally from Dolbeau-Mistassini in Lac-Saint-Jean, he now lives in Quebec City, where he works as a senior consultant in a public and government relations firm. Passionate about writing and politics, and an avid traveler and sports enthusiast, Sam previously worked as a journalist for a daily newspaper, then as a political advisor to the Quebec National Assembly.
He met his partner Marie-Noëlle in the U.S. capital in 2013, while both were doing a master's internship at the Quebec Office in Washington. Since then, they've been living in perfect love, and want to have lots of children.
