Quebec fathers

that talk about family

Since 2018, Maxime Pearson and Samuel Tremblay have been exploring the theme of family and celebrating paternal involvement on the web, in the media and anywhere you're willing to let them speak loudly!

ACHIEVEMENTS

In addition to the hundreds of slice-of-life stories and anecdotes published on social media, Nouveaux pères has become the vehicle for many successful projects over the years. Here are their greatest achievements (after their children, of course!)

2023 - Launch of Papa, lève-toi!

At a time when dialogue between men about family is still hard to get right, Nouveaux pères is launching its first book aimed at fathers (and highly relevant to mothers too!) Published by Saint-Jean, this book contains the discussion over a beer that Maxime and Samuel wish they'd had before the birth of their first child. From post-pregnancy sex to the relationship at work, family allowances and the mental burden: they go full circle.

A must-have in every young family's library, our blondes would tell you.

2022 - Production of Web capsules for fathers

In partnership with the Optimum Men’s Resource Center and with support from the Ministry of Family Affairs, Maxime and Samuel create and share professional video content tailored to expectant and new fathers who have plenty of questions… but rarely seek answers! Communication, sexuality, PPSA, and the father-child relationship are the focus of… an informative and entertaining video segment.

2021 - Launch of Dans ma tête

Inspired by the distorted and invented words of their three-year-olds as they learn to speak, Nouveaux pères and talented illustrator Guillaume Boivin create and market In my heada magnificent 32-page hardback learning book that celebrates the imagination of our little ones!

2020 - Launch of a clothing line

Many women define themselves first and foremost by their role as mothers, but the same cannot be said for men. To reignite the flame of paternal pride, Nouveaux pères is launching T-shirts for guys who want to show off their fatherhood on their chests! Let’s be proud to be fathers!

2018 - Creation of Nouveaux pères

A few months away from fatherhood, and faced with a world shaped by and for mothers, Samuel and Maxime created Nouveaux pères, a Web platform that takes a positive, humorous approach to the family. Five children later, what began as a creative project between two childhood chums has turned into a grandiose adventure.

In the media

Friendly, loquacious and in perfect command of their subject, Maxime and Samuel are always delighted to speak on radio stations and podcasts, or to share their ideas in print on the Web and in newspapers.
